O Camilo

We stopped by Restaurante Camilo for a single cocktail after a relaxing stroll along the ocean, and it was the perfect choice. The atmosphere was fantastic...warm, inviting, and beautifully situated, making it an ideal spot to unwind. I ordered the Black Wolf cocktail, and it was absolutely sublime. The service was equally impressive. We didn’t try the food on this visit, but if it’s anywhere near as good as that cocktail, it’s definitely on our list to return and find out. A wonderful stop in Lagos.

Amazing restaurant!! We had such a lovely experience here. You may need to wait a little while for a table but it’s worth the wait. The staff were so friendly and helped advise what to order from the fresh fish counter. The tiger prawns and the sea bass were stunning. The desserts were outstanding too. The egg and coconut pudding and the chocolate mousse!! Highly recommend.

He made the evening memorable with his attention, kindness, and professionalism. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the Algarve especially after our previous review.

We arrived very late for dinner after catching the sunset nearby and the restaurant was willing to take us in right before their kitchen closes. We didnt have much expectations to begin with but was pleasantly surprised with the food - the oysters were fresh, grilled fishes were done really well paired with good selection of wine, and ended with amazing desserts (the Mango mousse was great). The staff was really friendly and overall it was a very memorable night for us.

Very beautiful restaurant with sea view and a great fish selection. The food was delicious, one of the best fish soups we ever had. The service is excellent. Reservations recommended.

We loved this place for several reasons: 1. It’s the perfect place to start or end your beach day. We had lunch and then starting walking down the boardwalk to see all of the hidden beaches. The views from the restaurant were superb. 2. The food was top. We had the oysters, sardines, sea bass and white local wine. The local bread and mousse mango were the cherrry on top. 3. Service was superb. Staff was nice enough to sit us without a reservation. It was the highlight of our day being able to sit on this terrace with such great food! Even if it looks like a tourist trap, the food is EXQUISITE. Don’t miss it if you are stopping by Lagos.

Had a fantastic dining experience! The location is excellent, with beautiful sea views that really set the mood. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the seafood, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the service was top-notch. Waitress had a great sense of humor, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I'd recommend for both the quality of the food and the warm, friendly atmosphere.
